DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
The researches which have been conducted by the Attempt to Education Reform show the struggles of durations of educational policies and their policies. With the aim of removing inequalities in the society, Attempt to Educational Reform has been improving educational policies and struggling to improve the individuals’ having good education. At the same time, it has been implementing analysis based on data and participated policies and presenting other different perspectives. The research conducted by the experts illuminate the problems associated with the field of education. It has made contribution to the improvement of the education system by suggesting different viewpoints under the policy called “Education for Everybody!” In the studies conducted, it is aimed that suggested educational policies will be conducted in cooperation with different institutions which are for “Education for Everybody!” To inform the community, the press and publication fields are frequently used by Attempt to Educational Reform. Attempt to Educational Reform which gives a lot of information to the viewpoints of teachers, aims to plan the platforms they will share them in.
In this study, it is aimed to discuss some perspectives of education system. 4+4+4 education system, which was made effective in 2012, was discussed with the viewpoints of administrators and teachers. In the result of this study, teachers encountered the students studying in both primary and elementary education without any preparations and in this process, it hasn’t been supported by National Educational Ministry systematically. It is taken to consideration that it is not appropriate to make changes on such an important system such as education in just several years, that it is not correct to take such decisions suddenly, and that it is needed to take the teachers’, the parents’ and the administrators’ viewpoints into consideration while taking decisions on this topic. Moreover, ıt is discussed that professional education and religion education should be taken to high school education.
COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
This research which was carried out by Attempt to Education Reform firstly touched on 4+4+4 education system and the problems encountered in Turkish Educational System and commented what should exist or not exist by criticizing based on deep analysis. It is mentioned that the education system in American and Europe continents are based on this and suggested that the education in Turkey also should be based on this. Moreover, the belief that religion education should be based on choices and be optional is supported. Generally, this project shows the aim of giving the best opportunities by taking how much Turkey has progressed or will progress into consideration.
