DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
This research deals with the social justice implementations in primary schools and with the restricting factors of implementing these. The data was gained in form of surveys with 147 primary school administrator (Istanbul: 70, Ankara: 50, Antalya: 24) participants. The opinions of them are prioritized according to the arithmetic mean. Generally, the target audience who are socially supported are pupils with low economical conditions, having problems in integration, having a low academic success and physically and mentally disabled pupils. Social support implementations are provided for pupils who heal from a low economical condition and these implementations are financed from the school reserves. The restricting factors of social support are the schools insufficient resources, not enough gained information, social insensitivity and legislative regulations. There are no inspections about social justice investigations in primary schools.
‘’Social justice in educational environment provided to whom?’’ is the question asked here. Finding the answer for this question may differ from country to country and also from school to school. Because every school population structure differ from each other.
COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
Researches in social justice on primary school targeting students having low academic success, integration problems and economical problems are implemented in order to ease the deprivation rather than to provide equality. Social support applications are conducted systematically and institutionally. These kinds of implementations should be able to raise the social sensitivity, inform school administrators about using the resources efficiently and also creating policies to support the vulnerable groups in the society effectively and providing an equal condition for each group.
