DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
This research was conducted in order to identify the school drop out rates and reasons in the South-East Anatolian Region of Turkey. The participants of this research are from pupils from 8 provinces in the region. Around 1106 randomly chosen pupils from 54 different highschools have participated a survey in which the information was gathered. The data was analysed with the chi square method based on frequency and percentages and important derivations are highlighted. Mainly, the personal properties, familiy properties, educational system, school and teachers are considered in order to determine the disposition to dropping out school. At the same time, it has been shown that female students are more tend to quit school than the males.
COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
This research is relevant as is presents the reasons, tendencies and results of school drop outs in the South-Anatolian Region of Turkey. At the same time, it contributes to an autonomous aspect of the issue because of the mentioned factors of reasons leading to quit school among students. Besides this, the obviously given advices are supportive to finding solutions for the prevailing problems.

Final Partners’ meeting

The fourth partners’ meeting took place in Florence (IT) on 15 December 2014. The meeting had the objective to check the activities carried out since the third meeting of the project and share and assess the in progress results. A special focus has been dedicated to the presentation of the strategies to solve the case scenarios.
