DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
The "ConRed" Program is very useful for police markers as the sudden incorporation of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in society and the subsequent risks that teenagers face of the Internet and social media has left proof of the necessity of taking into consideration the field of virtual environments. However, the initiatives in this direction are scarce, and so are strictly regulated programs, that function as a foundation for the design of educative action lines.
The "ConRed" Program is based in the theory of normative social behavior and pursues the objectives of improving and reducing problems such as cyberbullying, Internet dependence and the unadjusted perception of the control of the information in social media, to, this way, promote the positive use of them. The evaluation of "ConRed" has been developed with a quasi-experimental methodology, with an experimental group (N=595) and a quasi-control group (N=298).
From a total of 893 students, 45.9% were girls, and the average age was 13.80 years old (DT=1.47). The positive results of reduction of problems in the experimental group and the lack of change in the control group are proof of its validity and they show that working with all the educative community and colaborating with it, it is posible to improve the virtual quality of life of the teenagers and, therefore, their real one too.
COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
The "Conred" Program is one of the first evaluated programs which is destined towards the intervention for the good use of the Internet and social media, of those presented here, that has been contextualized in the evidence «EvidenceBasedPractice» (EPB), taking into consideration the scientific evidence pointed out in different investigations that describe programs which has been successful in their objective of educating of modifying the behavior in the bad use of instruments or actions (Borsari & Carey, 2003; Haines & Spear, 1996; Wechsler & Kuo, 2000).
The starting hypothesis is that by developing the "ConRed" Program we can improve and reduce problems such as cyberbullying, Internet dependence and adjust the perception about the control of personal information uploaded to social media. The evaluation of the "ConRed" Program shows positive results regarding the main objectives that were proposed, such as the reduction of implication in cases of cyberbullying, the diminution of excessive use or risk of addiction; the adjustment of the perception of the control of personal information uploaded to social media. This affirmation is supported by the found results that show significant changes regarding the domain of the three objectives proposed with "ConRed".
Nevertheless, it is still obvious the evidence of the necessity of diminishing the possible excessive use of the activity on the Internet and the risk of Internet dependence, by increasing the autonomy of the students to confront the challenges that boys and girls may face.
Thus, we can confirm that the "ConRed" Program proves that cyberbullying heads to a clear disregard of peers and of the school, and therefore, this program foments the good student-school relationship and student-student as peers, creating a good atmosphere for the educative community and avoiding that student turn into absenteeism.
