DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPERIENCE
We had a student who was transfer from a different school. Because he came from a different school, he did not have so many friends. In the Physical Education course, I let my students out so that they would play volleyball. I separated them as groups in order that they would play in groups. Our student was included in a group. But some friends in the same groups were shouting that he did not have any ability in playing volleyball at all, he was always passive, he was good for nothing and I should exclude him from their group. Although I interfered as a teacher, some of the group members stopped playing by saying “If he plays, I will not play!” In the break, they hit him, and threatened him by telling him not to play volleyball anymore, otherwise, they would beat him together with their friends. Because he was short and silent, it was started to cast her out by some of his classmates. The student defended himself verbally. But, he did not like being humiliated by them in front of his classmates.
He told me that he would never play volleyball anymore. At the beginning, I didn’t react and I just smiled. Later on, by talking to him, I gave him some volleyball courses and I coached him. After the long-lasting workouts, he became a playmaker whose self-reliance arouse, who could defend himself, who went on school and who was able to dominate the ball.

Message: This particular experience illustrates the attention every teacher should have towards their pupils, which goes well beyond the normal curriculum development activities. Often, problems arise and deepen due to a lack of attention to what seems a detail or a so-called "normal" problema among teens - teachers can have, as the experience clearly shows,an importante role in solving those kind of situations.

Message: Indeed many children are excluded from their classmates due to sports performance.
The best way to deal with such situations is additional workouts.
Correct reaction by the professor.
