Review
The website structure is very clear, simple and easy to use , being a very profitable source of information for teachers, and that can serve as training for these professionals to detect this kind of problem , or know how to deal with them.
Within the website you can find news about the current bullying or cyberbullying , and various links to materials and experiences concerning the topic of interest , which are used to update professionals on the events that happen .
The website is a useful tool , in addition to the above, due to the multitude of protocols presents for teachers and education professionals can learn how to react to the different cases of harassment , with increasing frequency not found . The information contained on the website is scientific provenance and social practice itself , therefore noteworthy is the truth of this .
Their transfer to other contexts potential is high. The product is written in English and also involves many external agents involved with the website, and is also easy to find on the net .
As for the positives, we emphasize the multitude of interesting and topical contents are there in the website, another important aspect is the multitude of people who can access the information , because although this focused mainly on teachers the material is also true for other people interested in the subject. On the other hand , it is useful to develop resources and strategies in different contexts , such as the school , family and social .
It highlights the need to universalize the website, as it focuses on the U.S. and therefore are highly relevant data , such as legislation to bullying , we can not move our context.
In addition, booming website puts the need to train teachers .
This material makes a series of recommendations to minimize harassment . Such harassment is a risk factor for child development in the broadest sense , being frequently victimized these guys in various fields , a feature that increases the risk of absenteeism. The minimization of such risks is one of the objectives of the School Safety Net Project as psychosocial risk represents one of the identified causes of school absenteeism. Any intervention aimed at the promotion and improvement of practices in different contexts will therefore indirectly a prevention of this problem.
Therefore, it is found , after analysis of the content of the web portal , linking it with the School Project Safety Net, as it seeks out and provides strategies to address school violence and therefore can help minimize truancy, and violence in the classroom is a cause.
