National Meeting
Description of Dissemination Event:
Meeting with the working group of the "Stay@School" and "School Safety Net" projects. New participants have been invited to take part in the working group: primary and secondary schools, institutional services (SAS: re-schooling services, CPMS...). We invited Jacques CORNET (HELMO) to present the "Institutional Pedagogy" that is a practice of education centered on two factors: 1. the complexity of the learner, and the "unconscious" that he or she brings to the classroom. This unconscious is another name for the diversity of social, economic, cultural and other unspoken elements that an educator interacts with in an institutional setting; and 2. the role of the institution in the process of intervening in both those psycho-social factors and in what is known by a student. We also invited Sandrine MARQUET (Observatory of violence and early school leaving) to present a new publication of the Ministry: "A practical guide to prevent and deal with violence at school".
Target group:
Teachers (primary and secondary schools, higher education), headmasters, educators, counsellors (youth help services, psycho-medico-social centres), institutional actors (School mediation services, SAS: re-schooling services...).
