During the regional meeting of vocational schools for industry/handicraft and "well being" education, convened to discuss the implementation of the new Tuscan system of vocational education and training, have been taken into consideration the results of early school leaving as evidence of the validity of the new career paths. On those present expressed concern about the effectiveness of the new approach , demanding more hours of laboratory work. The two coordinators of the meeting stressed that it is not enough to change the amount of class hours, if teachers and schools are not prepared to deal with the cases of pupils at risk. Both stressed that the project SS NET provides in simple forms and clear and practical tools to solve problems that should be the subject of training for all teachers involved in vocational schools , where the causes of early school living are more concentrated .
