COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
It is no exaggeration to say that the protagonist of Teaching, the prince of Denmark is the school in its complexity. The experience of Chance in fact becomes an opportunity to reflect on the value of teaching a reality is crossed by very deep changes, in front of which it is clear that it is no longer possible to operate with traditional criteria. Teaching the Prince of Denmark suggests that school means do - however , even in icy atmospheres high school - immerse themselves in a live context , based on the relationship with the students, on the exchange of emotions, reciprocity , believing , however, that sometimes "there are obstacles inner psychic and unhealthy relationships stronger than the knowledge of the outside world , and as long as you do not work a change of context is difficult to change the individual . " To these considerations comes Melazzini going through the complicated needs help - throwing a " bridge over an abyss " - the guys maladjusted , emotionally deprived , used to live in dire family situations , often related to complicated galaxy of the criminal world . Confronted with them he realized that being a teacher means "to give meaning to the word " because it is the exchange of words that make up the business of education. Hence the need to be able to " accommodate the silences , vetoes , but also the clues , hints , guidelines by the students , under penalty of loss , of course, of significance ." The relationship is good , in fact, when nobody will create a dependency ratio ( the limit of many actions of voluntary social work ) , so that "you 're getting very explicit ."
