This guide presents some central elements of monitoring and evaluation system manifestations of violence in school:
- Tool / plug record of violence and instructions for filling / management database ;
- Instructions for the electronic recording of statements of violence
- Classification of violence in school ( description of categories / types of expressions of violence proposed monitoring) ;
- Instructions for use of the database on school violence situations ;
- System of indicators for assessing the phenomena of violence in school ;
- Reporting system phenomena of violence.
It includes the following chapters:

COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
This guide has been prepared within the project "Youth against violence" to guide the teams involved in the development of an electronic record of violence in the school space situations: actors at school level, policy makers at local and national level. There are at least four general areas in which the anti-violence at the school level can be supported by statistical data obtained from the database:
- Take a picture on the state of school violence in the own units and the other units in the county / national level; diagnosis based on quantitative data eliminates subjective assessments on the incidence of certain types of violence, the categories of abusers etc.
- Making comparative analysis of the situation in his own school record with those recorded in other schools in the county / national level, as a unified methodological approach, these comparisons can be validated;
- Development forecasts regarding future developments monitored phenomena of violence, especially those who have a higher incidence;
- Impact assessment of school interventions initiated to reduce the phenomena of violence through the use of targets and measurable results.
Thus strategies to prevent and combat the phenomenon of violence at school level and at county and national level will be able to rely on quantifiable data, verifiable and comparable in all major stages of development: planning, intervention options analysis, implementation plan action, monitoring, evaluation and development of corrective measures.
