DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
This research, conducted with 613 2nd and 3rd grade primary school pupils, aims to identify the social skills of integration pupils in comparing to their peers. The SBDS (Social Skills Rating System). Among the 613 pupils are 53 identified as integration students. On every pupil it was examined whether gender and class level is affecting the social skills.
In order to gather information the Social Skills Rating System which is developed by Gresham and Elliot was implemented. The SBDS is developed in order to improve the social skills, the academic efficiency and the identification of behavioral problems relating to that. There is also mentioned that it is possible to implement the SBDS on disabled pupils with simplified version of the program.
COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
The results are following: It is possible to say that the social skills and academic success is less than their peers and their behavioral problems are more. The results are discussed based on the properties of SBDS and the social skill needs of integration students.
