DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPERIENCE
The repeater is a student of 1 º ESO (compulsory secondary education) or learning difficulties,the student is disruptive behavior; dysfunctional family with financial problems .
The story happened between 2012-2013, 2013-2014 courses in Mairena del Alcor, Seville.
The people who were involved in the main fashion story development were facing the department, the guardian and teacher specializing in special education.
The protagonist of the story has many student absences accumulated without justifying it is also very aggressive and annoying to peers, so it is difficult to access. Efforts are made to speak with the family on several occasions without success. The hight school decided to contact social services and refer the case. Following the intervention of social services, the student returns to school sporadically, attempting to integrate in the classroom but comes without any materials. Misbehavior is when you are not motivated, the student is also lack of family support and self-esteem.
The hight school has tried to mediate the case by direct observation, taking into account the reports of primary student and with the cooperation of social services.
In addition to resolving the situation has tutored students, has tried many times to talk to family, has given educational support to the special education teacher and have made regular interviews with social services.
Peers have also been involved in the case and supported the student.
Ultimately the student progressed a bit, but left to attend the school and returned to lose the level reached.
Currently, the student comes to school less and less , and only if the family attends pressed to withdraw his financial support they are receiving.

Message: We are confronted with similar experiences very often. Sometimes the students drop out from school and choose to get a job. They return in school after several years and attend evening classes. If the family doesn't encourage them to attend school at this age, there is hardly a chance to keep them in school.

Final Partners’ meeting

The fourth partners’ meeting took place in Florence (IT) on 15 December 2014. The meeting had the objective to check the activities carried out since the third meeting of the project and share and assess the in progress results. A special focus has been dedicated to the presentation of the strategies to solve the case scenarios.
