Message: There are many such cases in my country, too. Unfortunately, the authorities here are reluctant to separate the children from their families, which is in many cases detrimental to those children development, and it even led to dramatic endings. It is also a huge responsibility that school should take.

Message: The case reported is an example of a proper functioning of the bureaucratic machine, from the identification of the problem of abuse and violence to the foster care of the student. A streamlined and efficient bureaucracy allows you to find solutions for extreme situations or situations of danger for the teenager, but the steps must be clearly understood and defined. Various elements lead teachers and adults to understand abnormal situations or uneasiness that their students may experience. It is not mere speculation, but precise data and findings that should lead adults to deepen the situation of the student in trouble and evaluate the possibility of an intervention . The timing of the intervention is crucial in these cases: sometimes procrastination can cause physical or psychological harm or destroy the helpless victims. The proper functioning of the school and social " watches " , social services and the juvenile court, are all gears of the same system , with well - defined roles which must work closely together, in order to avoid the bureaucratic machine jams or slows down its course .
