CIPAT had the honor of being summoned by the Culture and Education Committee of the Chamber of Deputies for a hearing on the issue of combating early school leaving. Thus, the Commission is carrying out a survey on the phenomenon and called for a hearing among others (managers, teachers, experts, associations), a consortium of public schools as CIPAT who has been conducting research activities and teaching proposal on the subject of dispersion. Representing CIPAT was heard Giuseppe Italiano, CIPAT president, who recalled the many years of work carried out by CIPAT on the issue of early school leaving (also very high in Tuscany) and focused in particular on the illustration of the School Safety Net project, indicating both Partners that the methodological approach. At the end of speach Italian has also submitted a written statement in which explicit reference is made to the Portal SSN, indicating the address of the web, and propose the guidelines developed by the project to support the prevention of early school leaving.
