COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
The study showed that Romania has become more attractive to immigrants, becoming from a transit country of emigration to a country with many immigrants.
Soros study shows that last year were legally residing in Romania almost 60 thousand foreigners.
More than half of immigrants are family members of Romanian citizens, and nearly 10 percent of them have come here to reunite the family.
A third of immigrants from Romania is represented by the category those that are coming to study in Romanian schools, facing with the lack of information in a foreign language.
Was identified the most common problems of immigrants, one of them being the weak communication with the institutions responsible for the integration of immigrants, the fact that some information and materials of interest to them are inaccessible them, because they are not translated into a international language.
The study reveals the fact that Romanians' perception towards the foreigners living in Romania is very good.
