This is a collection of previous and current projects and initiatives on the prevention of early school leaving focusing in particular on: early identification of students at risk, integration of immigrant students, support to students with learning disabilities, prevention of school bullying.
YEES Project
The YEES project aims at fostering the cooperation between the Vocational Education Systems and the world of work. It also promotes the inclusion of youngsters in the labour market in an effective way using social media and crowdsourcing based tools.
SoftisPed Project
The Softis-Ped project is funded by the European Commission and the Romanian National Agency in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme. The project has the aim to provide the paediatricians, as well as lecturers and students in the field of paediatrics, with relevant and effective communication skills.
In-VET Project
The INVet project aims at developing a toolkit for the identification of trainees at risk of dropping out the VET system. In-VET was born from the concept approached by two successful European initiatives that tackle the issue of dropouts: The School Inclusion Project and Stop Dropout!.
I Am Not Scared Portal
The “I Am Not Scared” project intends to identify the best European strategies to prevent and combat the bullying phenomenon.
Routes Portal
The Routes project deals with the issues of migrations and integration of immigrants into European countries. The project propose best practices for promoting immigrant students’ integration at school level.
School Inclusion Portal
The School Inclusion project support teachers in the prevention of early school leaving.
Goerudio Project
Difficulties in studying scientific subjects can be a causes of early school leaving. The Goerudio project, promoted by Riga State Techinical School (LV), has the aim to to create a learning community of European science teachers and students willing to identify solutions to overcome the main obstacles when studying scientific subjects and innovative teaching methods for science.

The aim of the [email protected] project is to provide school teachers with the necessary skills to prevent early school leaving using the strategies and tools developed in the framework of the School Inclusion project

European Anti-Violence Network
The European Anti-Violence Network participates as a partner in the project entitled‘Youth4Youth: Empowering Young People in Preventing Gender-based Violence through Peer Education’,funded by the DAPHNE III program of the European Commission. The project started on February 2011 (2 years duration), is coordinated by the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (Cyprus) and is being implemented in partnership with Casa Delle Donne per Non Subire Violenza (Italy), the Centre of Research in Theories and Practices that Overcome Inequalities-University of Barcelona (Spain), the European Anti-Violence Network (Greece) and Women’s Issues Information Centre (Lithuania).

Final Partners’ meeting
The fourth partners’ meeting took place in Florence (IT) on 15 December 2014. The meeting had the objective to check the activities carried out since the third meeting of the project and share and assess the in progress results. A special focus has been dedicated to the presentation of the strategies to solve the case scenarios.
