Host countries reveals a complicated , often difficult to forecast immigration status for the individual citizen.
Nationals of an unfamiliar cultural cycle meet "locals" and "foreigners". Many of the "locals" consider this fact as cultural enrichment, contrary others perceive the demographic changes of the last decades as a threat and react with hostility, violence, hatred and fear against the "foreign".
The Greece, the country of dispatch manpower , since the late 1980s began to become a country of immigration.
With the arrival of hundreds of thousands of economic migrants and political refugees - the beginning towards the rest of Europe , then with a clear and obvious intention to settle permanently in Greece, changed "internal balances and social balance" of the country.
The sociocultural changes in Greek society is surely affected and the Greek school .
COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION
This report focuses on the multifaceted issue of modern migration and integration processes of immigrants and children of immigrants in Greek society and the Greek school.

Final Partners’ meeting

The fourth partners’ meeting took place in Florence (IT) on 15 December 2014. The meeting had the objective to check the activities carried out since the third meeting of the project and share and assess the in progress results. A special focus has been dedicated to the presentation of the strategies to solve the case scenarios.
