DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
Firstly, the research gives brief information about coherence and then it touches on the aim of the project. The aim is the evaluation of texts written by Turkish students to the Uzbek students living in Turkey. Here the evaluation is considered in terms of transmission, elliptical narration, conjunctions and word coherence. The research was conducted with 98 immigrant (Uzbek) and 103 Turkish students who attended the 5th grade primary school. They were supposed to write a fairy tale. These fairy tales were evaluated by content analysis ‘’Coherence Level Scale’’ and ‘’Coherence Problems Inventory’’. At the end of the research, the results have shown that there is meaningful difference among Turkish students and Uzbek students in term of Coherence except for elliptical narration.
